I have a network of sites for Half Moon Bay, CA (ex:. www.halfmoonbaydining.com and all other domains listed on the main menu) that on its good months was hitting 10K new visitors per month. Haven't been able to monetize with the listed business community. Looking for ideas to repurpose it with subscription model and welcoming other ideas.
What about an open table widget for the restaurants? Start driving reservations and if you get some traction reach out to the restaurants to discuss compensation.

Yes, valid comment. I never charged any business from the start because I originally created these sites to promote my bookstore in town (6 years +). I no longer own the bookstore - have 18 sites up with related domains and thinking of the best approach for their next step.
