Money management for indie hackers and freelancers?
I always take money management seriously and was tracking my expenses and incomes precisely each month. But I still didn't see any proper tool to do that? I was using airtable, google sheets and notion which, but it's still "just" tables.
I'm looking for something where I can track
- personal monthly budget
- separate year budget (big purchases like MacBook)
- a business account with income/outcome = profit
does anybody have the same problem?

Oh man I just spent the last couple months going through this process and I essentially created a system that's not perfect but bearable for now. I used a google sheet for long term financial goals and a spending tracking app (Personal Capital) to see where my money goes each month. I find it really annoying how Personal Capital doesn't allow me to split transactions but I use them anyway because of the slick trend-graph they provide on my day-over-day spending for the month. Happy to go into more detail if you want.
Yeah, I have something similar at the moment, I'm using debit and credit on mac and iphone for personal tracking and tables in notion for business. Like simple income transaction b client and once a month I just fill accounts tables with summarised bank accounts expenses per month and income. But I can't say it's comfortable, or anything. I pay $10 a month for Quickbooks online. You may want to glance at it. It may or may not have all the features you’re looking for, but based on my usage and your pain points, you may want to have a look.
