More than 3 years since I launched a new product. How am I doing?

My new product is called Notocat and it allows customers to manage and write newsletters in Notion, then customize and send them to subscribers. Here's the link: notocat.com

I'm super rusty when it comes to launching a new product and I feel like I'm spending a bit too much time to launch the MVP. A couple of days ago I put the website up with a waiting list so I can push myself to launch faster.

At this point, I'm looking for any feedback the community has on how I can improve the messaging on the landing page or if anything seems unclear with the pricing. Roasting is acceptable here 🔥

Setting the timer ON now. I give myself less than a week to start inviting people in 🚀

Thanks everyone!

    The website looks good, congrats.
    I like the meow@notocat.com email 😸

I feel like the main headline is more feature-focused than benefit-focused. It could help increase the conversion rate to focus more on what the end goal is – why do people want to manage newsletters with Notion? What makes your solution special?

Spot on! I definitely fall into the trap of explaining the features, not the benefit. I guess I have a classic dev mind. I'll see how I can change this, thanks for the heads-up ✌️

Love how crisp this looks! Even as a product (although I am not your market), it seems like a great idea given how much Notion fans invest in their workflows. I've seen people really "live" inside their setups.

A few thoughts that come to mind:

    1. IMO the copy uses the word Notion too many times, especially in the first section that sits above the fold.
    2. I couldn't tell that "This notion page to email" is a button because it does not look the same as other buttons on the page (all other buttons are orange)

Thanks Pratul! Two very good pieces of feedback. I'll use this to improve the page 👌

I like your LP alot. Congrats. Clean. Bright. In general, first read - copy on point and not over selling.

    • If the process is simple, GIF it so there is no question about 'ease of use'. Principleformac, is a tool I use to animate ideas. I am sure there are others.
    • on LP I would put the trial terms. I had to click to pricing to see.

Start for free with 100 contacts, then update according to your contacts list

    • Is that unlimited newsletters and the constaint is 100 contacts?
    • or is that 1 newsletter contstraint and 100 contact constraint

Whatever the trial constraint is, suggest

    • be 500% transparent -- any hidden or unclear constaint breaks trust
    • be generous in trial -- max the time any citizen is giving you by willing to use a trial. make sure if they have gone to the trouble of signing up, that they can truelly experience the value. rare 1 experience of anything can create UX value. There are always quirks, different scenarios... to play with.

      Very helpful points, thanks!

Now that I check the Trial terms everywhere I can see it's not super clear.

Currently, if on trial, a user can have 100 contacts and can send max 100 test emails. Since this is an email product with someone potentially influencing the reputation of all other customers, I cannot afford to be too generous. But maybe I can think of something 🤔
