Hey everyone đź‘‹
I kept forgetting to pay bills, but every app I tried felt too complicated.
Too many features
Too many screens
Too much setup
So I built something for myself:
Nothing fancy, just something I’d actually use every day.
I'm curious:
👉 How do you currently keep track of your bills?
👉 Do you prefer simple tools or feature-heavy apps?
Would love to learn from you all 🙏
(If anyone is curious, I can share what I built)
That’s the right instinct.
Most reminder apps die because they’re built like finance dashboards when the real job is just preventing “I forgot.”
People do not want bill management.
They want bill anxiety removed with the fewest possible taps.
The product gets stronger the more aggressively you protect that simplicity.
Exactly — that’s the idea I’m trying to protect.
I don’t want NeverMiss to feel like a finance dashboard. The goal is simply: add the bill, get reminded, stop worrying about forgetting it.
I also just made it available on iOS, so now I’m trying to keep the same simplicity across Android and iPhone.
That’s the right constraint to keep.
The danger with this kind of app is feature creep. Once it starts looking like budgeting, subscriptions, payments, or analytics, it stops feeling like relief and starts feeling like another finance chore.
The sharper category is not really “bill reminders.”
It is bill anxiety removal.
That is the phrase I’d keep testing in your copy, because “NeverMiss” is clear, but users may still mentally group it with generic reminder apps unless the first screen makes the emotional payoff obvious.
If people instantly understand “this stops the stress of forgetting bills,” the simplicity becomes the moat.
Curious if anyone else struggled with this too.
