Here's my breakdown: https://twitter.com/JakubPiskor/status/1561251857653284864
Hey, @jacobp, I'm wondering, have you tried SaaSHub?
Hey @StanBright, yeah I have active page on SaaSHub. Unfortunately, it didn't get me any traffic. :(
I'll be working on some new means to improve that - helping makers of smaller products to get some traffic and feedback with the help of SaaSHub.
Awesome!
Nice breakdown @jacobp! Thank you for sharing the tweet. I followed you on Twitter.
Happy you find it useful. Followed back :)
That tweet is great - thank you. Now following :)

Oh wow, thanks!
Here is a resource I found pretty helpful:
https://github.com/mmccaff/PlacesToPostYourStartup
I also use it for my startup affistash.com and I can honestly say that it's a really nice list to have : )
Didn't go through all the replies below, sorry if there are a few duplicates:
startuphash domain has expired
Sorry about that. Used it a while ago and still had a good aftertaste about it. Another way might be: go to indie hackers Facebook page and then check out the "similar groups" section
have you tried SaaSHub?
Haven't yet, but will go e it a shot. Thanks for that Stan

Hey Oras 👋
Here's a nice list that I've used before (although it may be slightly outdated now)
Launching your MVP
Hope it helps
Amazing list! Thank you!
Fantastic, thanks @CalvinTalbot!
I have tried 10 Words before, it wasn't impressive.
Yeah agreed, the list is diverse and includes quite a few places so I'd be selective when launching (quality vs quantity)
G2 and Appsumo the best. Btw just now Appsumo gives 10% off!
Interesting point. How's your experience with Appsumo? I've been reading about success stories recently with Appsumo, it would be great to see your perspective on GetScreen launch.
This is a great way to promote your software, we cooperate with them for more than a year and during this time have received a lot of satisfied customers - you can make sure by reading the reviews. So if your product meets Appsumo's requirements - feel free to submit.
This is awesome. Thank you for sharing your experience, and congratulations for the great feedback!
I'd say AppSumo is a great way to get your first users from a very involved community. "Sumo-lings" are very helpful with providing feedback and reporting bugs etc.
However, it's a very price-sensitive base of users to get 'involved' with, and once-off licenses for software is something that potential future investors may see as red flags (as seen on here from other founders).
I see AppSumo as a great way to 'raise funds' for my platform, but always have a clear vision of how to 'transform' the business into a SaaS in future.
Hope my site (https://futurepedia.io) makes it to the list one day :)
Looking good, I added my website to your list ;)
Hey. Saw your posts on Reddit and love your site! I'm currently developing an API for various popular AI (including stable diffusion). Once I go live I'll let you guys know and submit.
Cheers :)
You can post your startup/side-project on StartupBase (created by me). It is 100% free :)
And good luck getting into a relevant position on Hacker News.
And how the things are going with Indie Worldwide? It's a closed paid community, curious how it is
I'm a member for more than a year. With IWW, you don't get traffic. Instead, you get feedback to help you improve. That could be:
And recently, Anthony started sharing launches in the newsletter and with his Twitter audience.
Yep. I was exactly curious about this. Great nice feedback on the community. Seems that it worth joining
Here is the top for me:
good list. i agree
Hey! I would definitely recommend Product Hunt. I launch my product on it and it went through the roof, I got 50 clients in one week. For me it's the best place to launch your product because most of people are from the start up ecosystem. I was just amazed by how people love to talk about new ideas and how they can be supportive. They help you improve your product by giving feedback. If your product is good all you need is visibility, and it's the best place to find it. Until today, I get all my clients from PH organically. The best thing is that it's free, you don't even have to pay for advertising 🙂
I am developing a two sided marketplace. Would it be advantageous to get listed on these sites?
Google when my product ranks for my keyword has always been the most consistent source of traffic
All the resources posted here are extremely helpful. Thank you all for these!!!
Seeing lots of good options -- is there a type of content that works well on each of these? And what's the most time-efficient way to be posting everywhere? As a developer (with a day job...), every post I write is time I could have spent doing something else, so I try to time-box it and be as efficient as possible. Any tips on efficiency?
Well, I'm afraid you need to spend time telling people about your product. Coding is not the only part of building a project or a business.
I wouldn't recommend only focusing on content, I've realized DMs are where you provide the real VALUE. Also, every platform works differently and has a slightly different audience. You can try seeing which platform works best for you.
Would love to hear some suggestions for non-SaSS startups as well.
What kind of non-Saas? do you mean info products? Courses? Services?
The usual YC advice that works quite well, is to launch super fast in
Product Hunt: Don't polish anything; launch as soon as possible. People, there are very helpful, plus you get a lot of early customers. Also, backlinks will help your SEO in the future.
Hackernews: Similar to PH, if your product is exciting and receives a lot of upvotes, you will get a lot of users to your site.
Isn't HN a lottery ticket? A post has 30 minutes at most to drive some engagement, or it will be out of the newest page and forgotten.
I have seen very interesting and polished products getting literally zero traction, others flight under the radar 3 times and then, suddenly, the next post explodes in popularity...
Do founders really rely on HN to get visibility, or make any strategy around it? It feels such a looooooong shot.
Yeah, to be honest if you want to have it stay in the landing of HN, you would need to do some background work, aka getting a lot of upvotes!
I'd say it's all about the niche. If your product is targeted towards a technical audience - bingo.
I don't agree with YC much on this perspective. Launching half backed product will get you a spike and then will fade in a few days. I have launched four products this year, and I am doing things differently this time.
I didn't have success with HN so far, but I'm sure others had good traction there.
Indeed, launching gives you a spike and then it fades, but from the few users you will get, if you call them and understand a) why they want to use you, and b) start building something they want, you are good to go. (I was quite lucky with PH to be honest with you, since our first launch made us the Golden Kitty of the year xD)
If it's a high-quality product and you're considering a lifetime deal, submit it to RocketHub.com - we vet each product and founder(s) and only do a few deals per month - fully managed end-to-end. After all, can't let one platform have all the fun :P
IndieHackers.. I think
I got this list yesterday and thought of sharing it here: https://www.feedbear.com/blog/startup-directories
Medium helped me get traffic on my website
Was it via writing blogs?
yes
Thank you for this!
Hello, All! Here is my website but I want to start my startup by continuing this site. Please, let me this possible solution.
