Most mobile games manipulate your emotions.

We wanted to see what happens when you build one that respects them.

In the mobile space, a lot of design revolves around pressure: timers, fail states, ads, and endless “come back now” notifications. That model works for retention, but it often leaves players — especially kids and parents — feeling drained instead of inspired.

With our latest project Food Festival 3, we asked ourselves a different question: what if a cooking game could feel like a cartoon you can actually play? Something calm, colorful, and cozy, where you make food step by step the way you would in real life. A space that’s safe for children, engaging for families, and still fun for anyone who enjoys casual cooking games.

That’s how we ended up designing a playable cartoon cooking experience built around curiosity rather than stress. No timers. No fail screens. No ads. Just the joy of creating, experimenting, and sharing food in a playful way.

We think games don’t always need to manipulate emotions to be meaningful. Sometimes, respecting the player is the best design choice.
