But the reality is—
the problem is distribution.
I see a lot of early SaaS where:
• The product is good
• But users aren't coming
Because they don't test early:
• Who actually wants their product
• Which channel will get users
A simple paid ad test often makes it clear:
Is there product market fit?
Growth doesn't just mean building—
growth means test + learn + improve.
Are you in the validation stage
or the scaling stage now?

I have seen a lot of posts about the distribution and how is this a problem. Distribution for sure will give you the validation so I totally agree. And I think that if you can not name 3 real people you'd pitch the product to in the first week, that's a signal worth taking seriously before spending months on building the ''perfect product''.
Totally agree. Distribution usually helps to understand product-market fit quickly.
Many founders make the mistake of starting to build a product without first validating it.
so beside the paid ads, how can you validate something without building it? i am a graphic designer and i always wanted to put something on the canvas and discuss with my managers or whoever i pitch my idea after i do some work. i think it might work the same way when you're building something. yes, you do need to validate your idea, but i think you should have something to show. am i wrong?
You're not wrong—validation with pure ideas is difficult.
In my experience, what works best is to combine "minimum proof + validation".
This means running a simple prototype/landing + small traffic test to see real user behavior.
This allows you to decide with data instead of guessing.
got it. thanks for your answer and your time!
