Moving from Substack to Ghost?

Hey all, anyone have questions about using Ghost to power your paid newsletter?

On Monday I'm interviewing a creator who ran the 2nd biggest newsletter on Substack before switching to Ghost last month!

I'd love to feature your questions about the move (why/how/etc etc) if you have any...

    Ah, interesting.

    1. Did they need to do any custom coding for Ghost to work from them?
    2. What is the most missed feature from Substack?
    3. What is the least missed thing from Substack?
    4. If Ghost could be improved in relation to using it as newsletter software, what would that be?

    Good luck with your interview!

I have applied the same script for a short program of moving services which is hosted online.

Hmm, who is your ESP? Is it shared or dedicated ip?

Ghost has moved into the paid newsletter space and it is awesome. An amazing writing interface, ownership of your content, choose your own design, and best of all, the money you make it all yours (except for the stripe fee). Oh and you can use your own domain name and build your brand.

The only hardish part is you need to host your own instance ($5 a month at Digital Ocean) or have Ghost host for you.

Ghost is great. I have used it over a small project of mine. I really liked the simplicity and complete control of the website.

However, You do need some coding skills to work around ghost.

Can you share, Where are you hosting the website?
