Muck Rack is a public relations software platform founded by Gregory Galant in 2009. They bootstrapped to profitability & grew to the #1 solution in the space before raising $180M this year.
This is a great story. I started my last company around the same time and sold it several years ago. When we both started in a similar industry, both companies were struggling. I watched them slowly but surely get better each year though they were always treated like a low budget add-on for the service they would eventually do themselves - media monitoring - and end up raising a ton of money for.
