Music License Rights Questions

Question - I have an existing native mobile app. I want to add some copywrited music to the loading/splash screen. If I buy this music by buying an MP3 and have it embedded into the app for it to autoplay when the user opens the app - do I have the right to use this music in my app for others to listen to?

Or said another way - if I buy a 99 cent mp3 - can I use it in my own products for others to listen to or is it only for my consumption personally?
