MVP feedback - architect marketplace

I decided to build my own home in 26 weeks because I am a little bit crazy and I wanted to do something different. I thought it would be interesting to see how long I could build the house in a month.

I started by researching what materials and tools were needed for building a house, but then I found that there were so many different kits available at [ark-lee] that it was not possible to buy all of them at once.

So, instead of buying all the materials individually, I decided to build some parts of the house myself. This way, I could save money and still get a good quality product that would last for many years.

Your opening statement tells me exactly what the site is about, and I like how you break down the way your site name relates to what you do.

I can't say I know anything about architecture (I'm a designer/developer), but I can give you some pointers on improving the website...

• Your primary CTA in the header should be right aligned. I'm not sure why there's another text link after but it messes with the flow.
• I can see the icons on the 'how it works' section link to other pages, but this isn't clear to the user. Add buttons under the text so users know they can keep reading.
• Tidying up your branding could do wonders. There are some minor inconsistencies that really stand out, such as some buttons have bold text and others do not.
• The steps are stacking on the 'Submit Your Project' section and any errors seem to scroll the form out of view. The steps could also do with a 'completed' state rather than going back to the 'inactive' state once the user progresses the form.
• You have quite a lot of experts listed on the homepage causing the user to scroll a long way. Could you show the top 3 or 6 and link to the rest of the list? There's a subscribe component right after, but I have a feeling some people won't be reaching that.
• I had a quick play with the basket/checkout and I really don't think you need it. I see you have a variety of services you can 'add to basket', but will users be buying more than one service at a time? Could you forward them straight to where they enter their details and pay, reducing purchase resistance? - Just seen you're using Woocommerce, I'm sure there's a way to send people direct to checkout.

Wordpress can be slow sometimes (depending on your hosting) and I've been working a lot with headless Wordpress and ReactJS. It might be something to consider if you bring on a developer.

I hope the above helps, but I would recommend getting a designer and/or developer to help tidy things up, improve user journeys and ultimately convert more visitors.
