Change can be scary, but it's also necessary for growth. That's what led to my decision to rebrand from HackDesign to Fuzz Design. Let me explain why I made this move and what it means.
In the crowded world of digital design, it's important to have a unique brand identity. My name, HackDesign, was beginning to clash with a well-known tutorial website with the .org domain - or at least it did in my mind...
The last thing I wanted was confusion between my services and theirs. So, I decided to step out, reshaping our identity to better align with what we truly represent.
I didn't just draw a name out of a hat. Transforming into Fuzz Design took thoughtful consideration. I wanted to create a name and a brand, that reflects the brand's evolution, my future goals, and essentially, who I am as a designer.
And yes, the transformation went beyond just changing the name. Every single element was meticulously reviewed and refined — from the website design and tools I use to colors and typography, all were realigned to embody Fuzz Design effectively.
The transformation from HackDesign to Fuzz Design is a progressive journey, not an overnight switch. I am in an active phase of collecting feedback, refining, and perfecting every detail of the new identity. That's why you'll still find me under the https://hackdesign.co URL for a bit longer. But rest assured, I am in the process of phasing that out. My vision is clear and soon, our web address will reflect the new, vibrant, bold, and transgressive identity of Fuzz Design.
You might be noticing some changes but know that the foundation remains the same. I am steadfast in my mission to simplify design for startups and creators by delivering functional, effective design solutions. Making the Indie hacker program an integral part of the process to achieve a steady MRR.
The aesthetic is changing but my commitment to providing professional, top-tier work continues to be our guiding light.
Fuzz Design isn't just a brand, it's a community. We're in this together. This rebranding process hasn't been about tweaking a business model, it's about our commitment to constantly evolve, better serve different clients, and uphold a brand that you can relate to in this ever-changing digital landscape.
Transitions, especially in business, never come without their share of challenges. I am more than just excited about this transformation; I am prepared, focused, and driven to take on the journey that lies ahead.
The drive and resilience of this community are inspiring. I am thankful to be part of it. Onward!
