My app made its first sale today

I am Nithur, I am an independent developer. I have been shipping apps since 2020. Only 2% of them made any real money. So, my failure rate is very high. But I accept that it is part of the game.

On December 29th, 2023 I had an idea to build and launch a product in 2 hours. To hold me accountable, I shared the challenge along with the idea on my Twitter.

The idea is to build a job board for Artificial intelligence.

I was able to complete it within 2 hours. So, I shared it on my Twitter.

It instantly got a mention in Ben's Bites newsletter (100k subs) and Robert Scoble shared the project on his Twitter. I got some other newsletter mentions as well. All of that added to pretty good traffic.

Today, it finally made its first sale ($199). I am excited about this and want to grow the job board bigger. My rationale is that eventually, every company will become an AI company which means it involves some kind of AI. Therefore, there will be a lot of opportunities for people skilled in AI tech.
