My browser's bookmark bar was a mess, so I built one page to replace it all
Hey Hackers,
For years, my workflow has been a chaotic dance between browser tabs. I'd have one tab open to compress a PDF, another to convert a PNG to a JPG, a third to add a watermark, and a fourth to quickly trim an audio clip for a demo. My "Tools" bookmark folder was overflowing, and every simple task started with the same annoying question: "Okay, which site do I use for this?"
I realized the problem wasn't the tools themselves—many are great. The problem was the friction. The mental load of finding, opening, and navigating a different single-purpose site for every file action was a huge productivity killer.
The "Aha!" Moment: Focus on the Action, Not the Tool
The idea hit me: What if the process was inverted? Instead of me finding the right tool for my file, what if my file found the right tools for me?
This led to a simple, powerful philosophy: I don't want to think about tools. I just want to get things done.

There are no separate pages for "Image Compression" or "PDF Converter." There is only one upload box.
Here’s the magic:
You drag and drop any file—an image, a PDF, an audio clip—onto the page.
The site instantly recognizes the file type.
It then presents you with a clean, contextual menu of every possible action you can perform on that specific file.
You upload a PDF, and you immediately see options like "Translate," "Chat with this PDF," "Compress," "Encrypt," and "Extract Text (OCR)." You upload a photo, and you get "AI Edit," "Convert Format," "Add Watermark," and "Translate Text in Image."
It’s designed to be the muscle memory for file operations.

I wanted to go beyond basic operations and integrate the AI-powered features I was using across even more separate sites.
