My Bumpy journey of 0$ to 29$ MRR in 2 years.

Hi Indie Hackers,

I built an extension Orso, to send WhatsApp messages without saving contact on WhatsApp web. The reason was to quickly send messages on WhatsApp to the potential co-founders I met at the startup school co-founder match.

I published it on the chrome store and downloads went up. I have been building products for some time. This was the first time that people were actively looking for the solution that I built. It was a great feeling.

Over time, I started getting a few messages with the issues in the extension and fixing them. I got my first paying customer a day before my birthday and it was one of the best birthday gifts.

Over time I added a lot of users and people started buying the subscription and the total MRR reached to 29$. It's not a lot but it's something I feel proud of.

I will reach out to every single user who uninstalled the extension for feedback. I have added a lot of features that will be useful for salespeople.
