My copy sucks. I want more newsletter signups

Hi,

I'm building a visual server-driven ui SaaS.
I've iterated on the copy multiple times, but I need an unbiased opinion.
I want to drive more newsletter signups.

Here's a link to the landing page https://www.serverdrive.io/

Hero:

  • "Build apps 10x faster" isn't interesting.

"Save hundreds of hours" section (use case section):

  • Is copy clear and concise?
  • Asset choice is appropriate?

"Get Started In Minutes" section:

  • It doesn't feel like there is much going on there
  • Should I replace this with features?

CTA:

  • "Get early access, news & updates" seems like a good choice

I looked at your product page and I can say that I found it very beautiful.

But one thing I felt when I read it was, what is the advantage of using your tool in relation to the others that we have available in the market?

That's a really good point. I need to take a look at our USP and revise the copy accordingly.

I'll explain my intentions in the least sales way possible.

So from what I've seen in the market, there are many no code tools to build apps for people that don't know how to write code at all. With the SaaS I'm building, this is meant to plug into existing apps to allow the user to create more screens without code and focus eng effort of very specific parts of the business. Take for example a marketing team that wants to change the copy on a screen from "Add to cart" -> "Buy now". They could do that in seconds, deploy the update and start seeing results. If I look at this from a PMs point of view, I see experimentation where they can change the layout of a screen, see what converts better, and iterate faster without eng effort.

I'd also like to add this isn't a no-code tool and it isnt a static content tool like a CMS. It's server-driven ui that plugs into the user's backend to supply dynamic user based content.

Is that helpful in understanding what I'm trying to do?

        Yes, this is useful.

But I'm still not sure if that way I as a customer would buy your product.

I think another thing is your target audience. When I read your landing page text, I thought your solution was very similar to Figma and your audience would be those UX/UI designers.

100% I dont think the indie hacker community is my target audience and I've definitely gotten feedback that someone thought this was a figma alternative so I can understand the confusion.

I pushed an update with revised the copy. I'm most likely going to improve the illustrations so that it can be clearer. Thanks so much for your feedback. It has been a big eye opener for me

I'm glad the points I raised helped you.

            Much success in your project.
