Running my agency business entirely on Notion for a year now but first time sharing my dashboard.
I use this window every single day. Here's a short section breakdown:
- Cover photo from First Man. It's a movie about Niel Armstrong directed by Damien Chazelle that reminds me that doing this is scary and lonely yet cool and worth the achievement.
- Three quotes from Naval Ravikant's superb Twitter thread on becoming rich.
- Table of Contents
- Kanban of tasks that are overdue & incomplete
- Kanban of tasks that are due today & incomplete
- List of tasks where I'm stuck
- List of tasks completed & edited within the last month
- Calendar of tasks that are incomplete
- Calendar of milestones attached to customer projects
- Table of projects that are closed & incomplete
- Kanban of potential customers grouped by funnel stage
- Gallery of meetings that have been created within the past & next weeks
- List of tasks that have not been edited since creation ("backlog")
I love this setup and Notion so much. I just cannot wait till the API will unleash this to whole new level
so you basically built a management application using notion. its essentially your version of something like asana or monday.com ?
essentially! the same things but infinitely customizable for my own needs
Good work! I also like organizing and planning with detail. Multiple projects with couple of separate teams, this is essential.
I'm using Notion for quite some time, but never really discovered using the page separated in vertical. How do you do that?
thanks! on any page go to the top right -> full width... and then use columns to arrange the content :) let me know if you need more help!
Done! so much better, thanks 👊
nice, congrats for this work
thanks and hello to a fellow tim on the internet 👋
Wow ! Looks Impressive
The self discipline you must have to keep this list going every single day is admirable.
How long do you spend maintaining each day?
Not long at all. I always have it open and adding/managing tasks is pretty easy. Once it's built, the maintenance cost falls dramatically IMO.
Cool, is what you have achieved here possible in the free plan or do you need to get a subscription ? - It looks cool very professional but I am thinking $$$
I do have a subscription. However, I'm a Notion Pro, so I get it for free.
Lovely.
And very nice to look at.
Have you made a finance dashboard as well? Would love to see how you are tracking your finances
I have a simple database. Not yet and not sure if it makes sense as much. I use and.co and forward any receipts to an email that stores it more/less automatically.
is that accurate? Thanks for letting me know.
