My Day 1 - hit $1k, but still feels like I’m missing

Day 1 of trying to build something on the side.

Just crossed $1k in revenue.

Not huge, but not zero either.

I’m doing this while working a job,
offering a service + slowly building a small product around it (still messy, not fully ready).

Some people said yes.
A few results are showing.

But honestly… it doesn’t feel stable yet.

It feels like I’m still waiting for
“real customers”
(not just early yeses).

And I keep thinking

I’ve got ~7 years of experience,
knowing how to think through problems,
where I can see things most beginners don’t.

But still, on the other hand,
the internet kind of flattens everything.

Everyone is building,
everyone is selling,
everyone sounds confident.

So it’s hard to tell
is my approach i different
or does it just feel different in my head?

Right now I’m just focusing on:
→ getting small wins
→ talking to users
→ showing up where people already look for solutions

No big strategy. Just momentum.

This is what my life looks like every day right now.
Felt like sharing a small part of it here.
Hoping for some good vibes as I keep going.

Hitting $1k on Day 1 is massive, congrats! That 'unstable' feeling is totally normal—even with 7 years of experience, moving from a service to a product is a completely different beast.

Don't overthink the 'big strategy' yet. If people are already saying yes and paying, you’ve clearly found a gap that others are missing. Momentum is the best validator anyway. Keep at it!
