This is me learning in public.
I sent my Product Requirements Doc (PRD) to a few folks whose work I liked (that I found via Dribble) and, perhaps, I now see, over-trustingly, included some potential domains I had researched in the PRD.
Someone has bought up all the .io domains I proposed. I can't believe this has happened by coincidence within a week, so it seems like one of the agencies/individuals I'm talking with about the project decided to nab a bunch of the the domains I was considering.

While that is annoying can you put a hyphen in any of them to get an available one still?
I quickly snapped up some close-enough options that I think will be sufficient to build a brand around. But yes, good idea.
Makes me wonder whether making folks sign an NDA ahead of speaking might have prevented this. I suspect not - I was either too trusting, or this is a wild coincidence.
