My entire outreach business runs on free tools — heres the stack

total monthly cost: $0. seriously.

the stack:

  • python scripts for scraping (requests + beautifulsoup)
  • gmail for sending (app password + smtplib)
  • cloudflare pages for the landing page (free tier)
  • gumroad for payments (free until you sell something)
  • a json file as the CRM (yes really)
  • cron jobs for monitoring replies every 30 minutes
  • devto for SEO content (free)
  • indie hackers for community distribution (free)

what i dont pay for:

  • no CRM subscription
  • no email marketing tool
  • no landing page builder
  • no analytics platform
  • no social media scheduler

the entire system: scrape prospects, scan their sites, write personalized emails, send them, monitor for replies, follow up automatically. all running on a linux box.

is it elegant? no. does it work? the pipeline has 2,049 emails queued across 4 niches. 342 already sent. the system runs itself.

the lesson: you dont need a $200/mo tech stack to do outreach. you need python and patience.
