My first Bubble project has been acquired and is now part of We Work Remotely

A couple of years ago, I started a remote job board called Remote Circle which I built fully on Bubble. It was my first Bubble project and was a great learning experience. I'm happy to share that it has now been acquired and is part of the weworkremotely.com family.

"Disclaimer: I can’t share any details of the acquisition or how I grew the business prior to acquisition, so you won’t find that in this post I'm afraid."

Just curious... why can't you share how you grew the business?

Wow. That's great. What's the URL of your tool or is it fully rebranded as http://weworkremotely.com/ with a new WeWork Domain?

Would love to know more about how you build it? How much time or/and money you invested and an idea about acquisition details. :)

Thanks. Yeah it now directs to weworkremotely.com directly. I've put a short blog post together if you're interested https://nocodefounders.com/what-ive-learnt-from-selling-2-no-code-business/

    Why did they acquire it?

I'm not sure if I can share all those details, but I've put a blog post together which sums up a couple of things if you're interested https://nocodefounders.com/what-ive-learnt-from-selling-2-no-code-business/

Congrats, I use we work remotely now and then

Congrats! Did the project run entirely on Bubble until it was acquired?

    1. 1

Yeah it was purely built on Bubble. We didn't move off Bubble

Just read your excellent blog post https://nocodefounders.com/what-ive-learnt-from-selling-2-no-code-business/. The link to the how to http://howtofailatbusiness.co/ does not seem to work. I was keen to subscribe to the newsletter. I can relate - in the words of Biz Stone 10 years of trying will make eventually make you look like an overnight success.

Ah thanks for the support. Sorry the link wasn't working. I've had a couple of technical issues with the page today. It seems to be working right now though. If not, you can private message me your email address and I'll add you manually 👍

    Congrats! That's great!

    Congrats JT!

Do you have any articles detailing how you built Remote Circle? I have just launched a beta of a job board for indie game developers built on Webflow (https://workwithindies.com/). It is still early and not very automated. I'm not interested in acquisition, but am interested in best practices and insights into Bubble benefits.

Nice idea! I wrote some blog posts at the time which you can check out on the Medium account https://medium.com/remotecircle

    Congrats! 👏😄

Hey JT, congrats! did you use any other no-code tools as part of your stack for this project other than bubble?

    1. 1

Thanks Michael. I used Mailchimp for the newsletter but that's pretty much it

    Congrats, the site looks great!
