My first full week of No Code, here's what I learned

So I finally did it.

I jumped on the #100DaysOfNoCode to go from someone who spoke about it, to someone who used that tools that had been built by coders so that us No Coders could benefit.

It's easy, anyone can join in. Max Haining has created an amazing community around it and it really speaks to how much people are getting involved in this over time.

So here is what I learned.

  1. The best way to understand what you can build is to use the tools. Here's a great link
  2. Start with anything. I mean anything. I used random ideas that had been floating around in my head and created the most basic bits first
  3. Join accountability groups (if you can), it will give you the motivation you need when it's slipping
  4. Make it difficult to slack by using tools like MyNoCodeJournal
  5. Most importantly don't be scared to get inspo from others. You got 100 days, so enough time to get it right.

It might be obvious to you, amazing to someone else.

@jayyoms it's amazing. Good to hear you're enjoying the no-code scene.

I've been running all my projects without code, learned a lot, grew a lot. Can't wait to do more!

    Excited to hear your story!

    Great job @jayyoms!

My colleagues do a No Code / Low Code stream on twitch every other Wednesday called The Low Code Hour. Might want to check them out. https://developer.nexmo.com/devtv
