Hey Fellow Indiehackers,
After being on the sidelines for the last 3 months, I decided to jump on with my first project - ProgLogs - A Progress Tracker for Solopreneurs.
Check it out here - https://www.proglogs.com/
Burn Me or Love Me, but let me know what you think :)
Nice work getting something out there.
I read the landing page and how no idea what it does.
How does it work?
What are the benefits? How is it better than what I am doing right now?
Thanks for the comment.
How does it work? What are the benefits? How is it better than what I am doing right now? - I'm drafting that out now for the second version of the landing page.
Wanted to ask you - How do you track your progress now?
I track my progress by posting on Twitter. https://twitter.com/JoshDance/status/1636125526040674306
@joshdance Lovely. What are the challenges you face with using twitter to track? What are some things you wish you were able to do with respect to tracking your progress? sent you a DM as well.
Honestly I don't have many wishes. I like just posting about it. Maybe it would be fun to see a streak, but not a huge need for me.
It's a bit vague as a landing page. Do users add their scores daily?
How does your project stand out? There are plenty of progress trackers so what's new with this one? Help users understand why they should go for you
Thanks for the questions. you have given me somethings to think about.
If it's helpful check this out, you get daily advice taken from the best founders, it helps you on what to focus on, get insights and avoid mistakes along the way
I too am a little confused about how the scores are calculated and what they mean. But congrats on getting it out there!
Haha gotta build the infrastructure for building products before building your first product, right 😀
I like your color scheme, but you should make the screenshot in 2x display resolution and ensure the background covers the whole window. It is quite obvious when viewing in 4k.
@fireantik learning to create mockups.. will get there :)
Wow, cool, that's definitely a great idea!
I know it's really hard to be in the MVP stage, especially when developing a product independently, you need to do a lot of things by yourself, such as designing landing pages, promoting the product, and building your own social channels.
I also once wondered if more partners would make the process less difficult and lighter. I'm also trying out my first project about GPTBase_ai. If I can, I hope it can train bots to do these things for me, I just need to provide ideas.
