🎉 My first open-source project Logbun received its first contribution today!

enter image description here

I just wanted to share a little milestone that made my day! This morning, I received the first PR (https://github.com/logbun/logbun/pull/17/files) to Logbun, my very first open-source project. I'm genuinely thrilled and couldn't help but post about it here.

It was a simple typo fix, but it felt like a big moment for me. I'm still trying to wrap my head around how this contributor found me – the beauty of open source, I suppose! 😄

I wanted to express my gratitude and appreciation for the effort put into making Logbun a bit better. It might be a small step, but to me, it marks the official beginning of Logbun's open-source journey.

I'm not sure if the contributor will see this post, but if you do, a huge thank you!
Here's to more collaboration and improvement in the world of open source. Cheers! 🚀

Congrats on this and respect for trying to build a SaaS with an Open Source product. Is this the first time you're trying such a product/project?

1st of the millions to come. You would get a lot of these low quality contributions, often from a single place on the globe. Open hard issues, to go with quality. Congrats, btw.

I hope so! Thank you for your positive feedback. I am sure when more people start to use it, bigger bugs will be discovered.

What a cool project, but don't make this library for only saas founders, focus on all developers

Thank you! I appreciate it. And to your comment, I was trying to make it niche as there are a few libraries for developers but I think you also make a good point that i might be limiting the product.

Congratulations! I just sent you another (can't post link lol, pull/18)

Cool idea too, I'm considering this for my own usage now.
