Today, I posted Floutwork on Product Hunt for the first time. This is a special day because I have always supported products on Product Hunt but was never at a point where I could submit one.
I am not going to lie; it has been a lot of prep leading up to this launch. Even today, I have been up since 2:30am EST, continuing to make sure everything looks right before the launch.
Finally, when the upvotes were revealed after 4 hours, I realized I was in #18 lol. It seems that in just 4 hours, enough products have connected with their communities, putting 17 products ahead of me. Also, today, some big-name products, including "Pitch v2.0," are currently trending #1 with a whopping 491 votes, while I currently have about 100 votes. However, this journey has been incredible. Although it's easy to feel small compared to the giants, all you can do is continue doing what you initially planned to do—engage with the communities you belong to.
I will continue to update this post on how the rest of the day goes. If you are reading this on Nov 14, 2023, don't forget to stop by and check out: https://www.producthunt.com/posts/floutwork and join the discussion!
Congratulations!

Notified, looking forward to seeing the launch:)
Thanks!!!
This looks like a really great tool. First launches are always exciting and scary at the same time. You will do great!
Thanks! I plan to find more people and communities to support our product!
Hey Daniel, congrats on the launch! I upvoted and wrote feedback. Are you working on this project as an indiehacker? I was impressed with the polished UI and the functionalities it has. Wishing for a successful launch!
I found this post since I'm launching today and looking for some tips, it is great if you could support us, too😊
Thank you so much @hiro1107! Yes, I am a solopreneur. I have been working on this for a long time on the side. I work full time too so that's why this took longer to develop. I am glad it is finally at a point where I can start launching in different places.
I will surely check out your product and support you in any way I can!
Thanks Daniel! I'd love to hear your thoughts on our product:) We are creating a interactive video platform called Sharelo.

Cool product! I upvoted on your launch day. Congrats on your launch!
Thanks for the support, Daniel:)
Hello again, everyone! Today, there were about 65 products launched on Product Hunt. The competition was very high and there was a lot of extremely great products that were launched today. Congrats to all the makers! Just some lessons learned - it is hard to stand out in the crowd. So keep your product's value proposition really crisp so people are excited right away when they see the tagline and description. I feel like my initial makers comment was too lengthy. People didn't really read the whole thing. So try to not write a really long makers comment like me lol. Try to answer the question "Why should someone care about what I built".
I felt the same, our result was #8 out of 63, and maybe the result could be better with better tagline that rise the curiosity and CTR on the product list page. (The tagline was "Interactive video platform for sales and marketing teams")
I wonder as well. While my tagline, "Fastest way to work, ever. All-in-one desktop app," may have have worked, I feel that my product description (260 characters) at that time didn't effectively convey what the app did. I realized this after some feedback I received from reddit. I changed it now to "Most people lack the knowledge and tools needed to produce high-quality work, fast. Floutwork solves this problem by packaging everything you need into a simplified desktop app, enabling you to dramatically increase work speed, quality, and success every day."
I feel like this conveys a better idea about the product especially when people are just skimming through so many different products in a day. I will get some feedback and see if this gives them a better idea.
