My first post on the journey

I’m 19, from Nigeria, and I’m building an AI fashion startup.

Honestly, I have no idea if this is going to work.

I’ve never built a billion-dollar company. I don’t come from fashion. I don’t have some impressive fashion-industry background.

I just kept noticing a stupidly simple problem.

People have clothes.

They have Pinterest boards. They have TikTok saves. They have full wardrobes.

And somehow, they still stand in front of their closet and say:

“What the hell am I wearing?”

I’ve done it too.

So I started building Vostylo.

The idea is simple: an AI personal stylist that actually gets to know you — your clothes, your taste, your body, your environment, the occasion — and helps you figure out what to wear.

But here's the part I'm most interested in:

I don't want Vostylo to become another app that tells you to buy more clothes.

I want it to help you get more out of the clothes you already own.

Right now, Vostylo is still very early. There are things I don't know how to solve yet. There are features I’ve probably overthought. And there’s a very real possibility that some of my assumptions are completely wrong.

So I'm building in public.

I'll share the wins, the embarrassing decisions, the things that break, the experiments that fail, and hopefully the moments where something actually clicks.

No “10x growth” screenshots yet.

Just me trying to find out whether this thing deserves to exist.
