Today I will start to learn my first programming language.
I decided to go for SwiftUI, the official language for iOS devices. I got planty of app ideas to launch. I will keep you posted
Best of luck! For me, learning by practice is the quickest way to learn a new programming language. So maybe you can implement one of your app ideas whilst learning to solidify your knowledge.
True story! I will decide soon what kind of app I will build to start the journey.
My suggestion: patience!
Good luck !
Thank you. I guess it's for every programming language the same: starting is never easy.
Sure ! I have been to quick, I'll elaborate a bit :)
Being motivated is super important, and you have to leverage this. What I am trying to say is that starting to learn a programming language is a thing (and it's always quite fun and enjoyable), publishing an app to the app store is a totally different pair of shoes, there will be moments in which you'll have frustration for several reasons (doc not being clear, concepts you will be missing, etc). Remember to find support in whatever community you want when that happens, some of the more successful ventures come out of complex paths :)
Cool! Remember to compile and run often. Don't write a whole bunch of code, and then run it at the end, only to find it doesn't compile. Write a little, compile and run a little. Repeat.
Thanks for the advice @iamwil.
