My First Public Software Tool, $120 in 3 Seconds - Wordpress 2 Email

I've been lurking on these forums for about a year now, wishing that I could join the ranks of indie hackers.

So I finally put down the tutorials and made a thing - https://wp2email.com/

Nothing ground-breaking, but it's my first attempt at making something remotely useful for others to benefit from.

It's a simple tool that I wish I had many years ago when I was hand-coding email templates for different industries. I used to charge around $120 for this and it took me around 4-5 hours of writing and testing - I just turned that effort into 1 click for others.

I've written more about this project here https://calvintorra.com/blog/my-first-public-software-tool-120-in-3-seconds.

It's mainly for the 50% of the Wordpress designers that don't code. I was thinking they could use this tool to add another retainer service to offer their clients without having to learn something new.

After some promotion and IF I get any feedback regarding features, maybe I'll add some suggested features and go with freemium model.

I don't expect this idea to be the one that brings in profit, but I wanted to start exercising the "Ship It" muscle more as a self-taught dev.

Thanks to you all for the inspiration to take the first step and get something out there. Hopefully, the next idea solves a bigger problem :)
