[My First SaaS] Secret Santa Generator via SMS

I'm currently working on my first SaaS and I'm seeking all feedback possible. Almost every year I organize secret santas, but the websites I use are either too ugly or I always have to bug my friends for their emails (inconvenient).
I have been wanting to work on a web app for some time now and this sounded like the perfect way to start (small and relatively easy to make). The main selling point is that users can just write down their friend's phone numbers and the app will message each person their match. Participants can then message back the app their gift preferences and the person that is responsible for gifting them will receive the message.
Development wise there is nothing major to finish, except improving the mobile version. My main struggle right now will be selling this to people as they are used to free alternatives. Do you have any suggestion on how to market this and improve it? Any feedback is welcome! 😊
Interesting approach but difficult to market taking into consideration the free alternatives.
Not sure about the inconvenient of asking emails.
Another problem with this project for me is seasonality.
Could you "invest" and make it free to build an audience for this year? In the second year with credibility and audience, you could try to sell to that same audience or directly to companies.
Congrats on finishing and launching! It will definitely be hard to get users for an app like this. I'd imagine most people won't want to pay anything for this type of service. You might be better off making it free and trying to build up a user base/audience. Once you have an audience there are ways to monetize/sell to them.
