I built a 90-day goal app and my entire user base is one person. She also lives with me and did not sign up so much as get volunteered.
Here is what happened. My wife had a storage room she had been avoiding for ten years. Not a metaphor, an actual room packed to the ceiling with a decade of someday I will deal with that. Every January she would say this is the year and every February the room would win.
So I put it into ThriveOS. The whole idea is that the big scary goal is the one you keep dodging because it feels too huge to start, while your to-do list keeps you busy looking productive. The app chops the monster into tiny daily pieces, roughly 15 minutes a day, and an AI coach grounded in behavioral science nudges you based on how you actually operate instead of how a productivity guru thinks you should.
90 days later she had hauled out hundreds of bags, read 8 books, lost 15 lbs, and finished 5 puzzles. The room lost. Badly.
I am building this in public and I am very pre revenue, as in my cap table is just me and a buffalo logo. Would love to hear from other solo founders. What is the one goal that has been sitting on your list so long it has its own dust.
The interesting part here isn’t the goal breakdown itself — it’s what actually makes someone stick to something for 90 days when motivation disappears.
