My journey building URLwatch.io — from frustration to my first launch

I’m Raj, a solo founder building under SuperTek Services — my tiny studio where I create simple, practical SaaS tools.

Over the past few months, I’ve been building URLwatch.io — a lightweight monitoring tool that helps developers and small businesses detect website or API downtime before their customers notice.

💡 Why I Built It

I got tired of finding out a site or API was down from users instead of my monitoring tools.
Most solutions I tried were overcomplicated or too expensive for small projects.

So I decided to create something simpler:

• Easy to set up

• Fast & reliable

• Affordable (and even self-hostable for agencies)

• Monitors any website or API endpoint

• Sends instant email/webhook alerts on downtime

• Tracks uptime & performance history

• (Soon) Slack & Discord integrations

🚀 What’s Next

I’m preparing to offer a Lifetime Deal (LTD) on RocketHub or DealMirror soon to bring in early users and feedback.
