My journey to find a cofounder and what I did about it

Flashback to 2 years ago, I was a fresh developer proven in industry but itching to break out on my own. At the time, I had no way of finding someone to do business with and relied solely on my person network. Finally, an opportunity falls into my lap, my first chance to get started with a business. I had no idea what to do, so I dove head first without any experience. Long story short, that was a complete mess and I ended up exiting a few months after. I didn't learn a lot about starting a business or being the only engineer, but I did decide that there has to be a better way for talented people itching to create to reach each other and start a business. I let that sit in the back of my head for almost a year, until I was reached out to with a similar idea. https://befounders.com was born. A platform to minimize your journey, a way to simplify the way cofounders meet by being completely transparent with what you are working on, the progress the idea is at, and who you are looking for. Funny enough, there is an extreme draught for talented engineers, and many people looking to get a CTO.
