Hi Fed! Like @siddhitaupare says, your site looks great (I even converted!). There are a few things I can think of to try improve your conversion rate. Some are quick and easy, others will take a bit more work. In any case, no one can surely know without testing. I've recorded a video for you with the details: https://www.loom.com/share/c91481cf0ba14401b1b9b7f46f053365
Wow that was SUCH an amazing walkthrough - you are a fantastic copywriter!
Thank you so much, a few of the points I had on my mind (like social proof, CTA banner at the bottom), but some of the things you brought up I hadn't thought of at all, but make so much sense.
I appreciate it. I'll be releasing a new version soon, excited to see the improvement in conversion :)
I'm glad to hear I could help!!!
Yeah, there's a lot of things that are easy to know about but sometimes difficult to visualize or implement. Social proof and CTAs are at the top of my list!
I'm very excited too! Could you please let me know what the results are like? I'd really appreciate it. I would also love to feature the results in a blog post!
I just went through and implemented a bunch of the recommendations you made!
Check it out. You might even recognize a familiar face :)
Thanks for the help, I've started tracking my conversion more actively now and will keep you in the loop as it improves!
p.s. I might have spoken too soon about the 25% - that was during a time that I was doing some active targeted marketing. During the past week while I haven't done any distribution it's closer to a measly 10%. Anyways I'm still going to shoot for 40% a month from now.
It's looking really good! Yay for testimonials! Love that they are dynamically pulled in from Twitter :)
40% is high! If you get a 40% conversion rate on your homepage, that will be extremely impressive! Go GummySearch!
If you're getting 25% conversion, I'd say don't touch a thing - instead, focus on getting more people to the site.
How much time do you spend building product vs building marketing?
I try to keep an even split, but recently it's probably been more marketing since I launched the beta a couple weeks ago and am collecting feedback at the moment.
