Yes I think its great, removing obstacles to play and engage! Perhaps focusing first input on page load would make it clearer that its editable.
I think the copy could do with some work to help it
Free-form board for note-taking
=> "Leaf-let is a free form board for note-taking"
Add some more text like "Play with me by editing text"
Maybe a modal or softer product entry would help not get overloaded with the whole interface at once

That was exactly my first title, but people always preach shorter is better, remove as much as possible. But I agree it sounds better.

I'll be honest, I'm not a fan in this form. It feels like I've accidentally opened a web app instead of a landing page, and my instinct is to close the tab.
I like the idea of providing a fully functional app on a landing page, maybe imbedded with some instructions to give the visitor context and a taste of the app.
The problem is more that it's not clear that it's effectively a demo version, and it's not particularly intuitive. It took me a while to realise I can move the windows, for example.
The idea of a workable demo on the landing page could be a winner, but I think you still need the landing page bit to give context and set expectations.

I have 2nd note saying that it is an editable board. Maybe I should rephrase it or make this note bigger? Or maybe I should create blinking guides like they do in mobile games to invite users to do a few basic things?

This could be worth a shot. Gray out everything but the first box perhaps, with clear instruction for the reader to make it clear that they can edit the page they're looking at.

Yes, but only if the visitor reads all of the boxes. The issue is that we're creatures of habit, and if we don't know what to do next, we tend to cut and run.

What is the objective with this page?
To show a user how powerful this note-taking app is. Not just simple post-it notes with simple text, it has rich text formatting, jumps to notes, todos, bookmarks, live lists, tags, custom styles. And to let them immediately tinker with it.
How is your app doing?
This is the first post on the internet about my app, I'm still building it, prepping to launch.
