My Learnings about Public Roadmaps

Two weeks ago I came across the concept of public roadmaps.
And I asked people about it in an IH Post.
Learnings :
- Roadmaps are used by products who have achieved Product Market Fit
- They are used to communicate upcoming features to users
- They help in getting feedback about specific features
I surveyed dozens of public roadmaps of companies like Microsoft, GitHub, Buffer etc.
I documented the results of those surveys in a tweet.
Good Features :
- Timelines
- Progress Bars
- Easy to submit feedback and feature requests
- Embeddable
- Good Icons
- Simple Hierarchy

I decided to create the Perfect Roadmap and started creating a Notion Template.
And finally completed work today.
