My new free application for decoding electronics components codes.
I was navigating google play for an application, which decodes SMD components codes, and found out most of them require to choose component's category every time I finding component code. I developed an application, which lets you decode SMD and color codes immediately after running it, and guess the category of the component by code. It's totally free without advertisement, you can download it from google play

This is really cool. I am an electronics engineer and I have a few thoughts.
-It would be great if it had more parts in the library. octopart.com is a part aggregator I use, it would be nice to tie into there database(No idea if thats possible)?
-It would be way more useful to me if the parts included links to a datasheet or the manufacturers product page.
-A mode where you can the part and the app reads the part number and pulls it up would be cool(idk of it would be worth the effort, but definately cool)
-It says SMD codes but the same functionality for THT parts would also be useful.
Pretty interesting, who would be the user for the app? Electronics engineers and/or hardware enthusiasts maybe?
I think, it's useful for everybody who repairing some electronics device without circuit diagram of it and want to guess what component they see.
My first thought if you're looking for some users is to find relevant Subreddits to share the app with DIY/maker type people that tinker with electronics & hardware. Also maybe some electronics/hardware builder communities on the web? I think with the free price tag & paired with the video in your Play Store listing to explain it, you could gather some early feedback from those places & then maybe see how to improve from there.
Also maybe if used for educational purposes, students could find it useful. Just some ideas that come to mind.
