My newsletters get lost in my inbox

Currently I'm subscribed to a few tech newsletters that gets sent out once a week/month. I really enjoy reading these newsletters but sometimes it just gets lost in my inbox between promotional emails and other random emails I receive daily.

Are there any good apps out there for subscribing to and reading newsletters?

I have an idea for a newsletter-reader app that could be used to manage your newsletters and subscriptions. If there was something like that would you use it? Any comments or thoughts would help!

Hello Nico! I just found your post. I'm currently working on "Letternews", a newsletter reading app focused on providing a better experience, decluttering your inbox and letting you find new newsletters to subscribe to!
If you're still interested in something like this, feel free to follow on https://twitter.com/letternewsapp, I'll be launching sooon ^^

I recently signed up for a Hey.com trail account and they did a pretty good job with their "Feed" feature where you can direct all your newsletters and promotional stuff. It's definitely a feature that is missing from other email providers, but I'm not convinced it's worth $99 / year.

Letternews sounds pretty cool. I'll definitely sign up! Launching my own newsletter tomorrow as well :) I would like to see more info about Letternews. Have you considered writing a blog post or something on IndieHackers to explain more about what you're working on and what can be expected in the near future?

I'm definitely gonna write a blog within this week! Will let you know once it's up!
HEY sounds good but same thing, I don't know if I'd pay $99 a year for their features.
Letternews is also focused on helping people discover newsletters, after the initial launch my main focus will be on improving this section as much as possible, and making the sub/unsub process as simple as possible.

if you can’t manage them in your own inbox... what makes you think an app will make this better? lol!

not trying to troll you... honest question.

That's why I asked the question :) I'm trying to figure out if I'm the only one with this kind of problem.

The idea for the app is to aggregate the newsletters based on company. You would then be able to keep track of what you have already read and what not. I haven't thought of all the details yet, just trying to see if it's an actual problem.

i think a lot of people are literally over-subscribed to too many of these damn things. i try to help people unsubscribe from stuff... for the sake of focus!
