My people, what do you think about my email copy?

A few points on this email:

There's a lot I/we rather than you/your language. How can this be said from the point of view of your reader?

There's a focus on what you do (writing blogposts for technical companies) rather than the pain of what your reader is experiencing. Which looks like: Finding someone who can write for their blog or newsletter with enough technical chops to resonate with their audience or getting posts up on the blog regularly enough.

Your call to action looks good. It should be something small that relates to the quick question subject line. Something like are you looking to grow your inbound leads through your blog? or do you have someone already writing your blogposts? are you happy with how many posts you publish on the blog? does your blog help you get new users? do your blog posts bring in search traffic?

If you wanted to do a quick question type email campaign, ask one pre-qualifying question then when they reply go into the conversation about what you do and if it makes sense to get to know you.

so it'd look like this...

Hi Dave -- are you working on new blog posts?

Dave

If you wanted to have a longer version it would have a personalized first line, describe the problem you think they have then your cta.
It'd become..

Hi Dave,
Loved the post you did last year on the pusher blog about using asp.net to create a photo feed. Tutorial style posts help users understand how to get their first project off the ground.

"We helped wrote" should be we helped <i>write</i>.

Personally, I like it. Straightforward without being too pushy or clickbaity.

Instead of "We helped write content that educated and provided value to their audience."

what about:

"We help write content that is highly effective at capturing and educating the audiences of our customers"

Just a thought.

As a template, I think it's okay.
The call to action seems a bit passive to me.
I don't think you should have a link directly in your email copy if the goal is to get a reply and start a conversation, if they want to check you out, they can click on your signature.
The subject line is fine I think.

I think it would help a lot if you added some personalisation and context in the line before "I was wondering".

Don't like the subject, sounds like you'll be pitching a guest post for their blog
