My posting consistency doubled when I stopped writing daily

Counterintuitive thing I learned after months of failing to post consistently: writing daily was the problem.

A blank composer asks two questions at once. What should I say? And how should I say it? Answering both every morning is why most founders' posting streaks die around week two. Blame task-switching cost, not discipline.

The split that fixed it for me:

• Sunday, 30 min: decide the week's topics. One line each. No drafting allowed.
• Monday, ~1 hour: write all of them in one sitting. The deciding is done, so this is fast.
• Tue through Sat: zero content thinking.

Deciding what to say is the expensive part and it needs a clear head. Writing from a decided topic is nearly mechanical. Doing the expensive part once a week instead of seven times is the entire trick.
