When I started working on Crucials, I knew I didn’t need a perfect product—I needed something functional that solved a real problem. So, I set myself a 30-day challenge to build an MVP. Here’s how I did it:
1️⃣ Identify the Core Problem: I focused on a specific pain point—BigCommerce merchants juggling multiple apps, which slowed down their stores and increased costs.
2️⃣ Strip It Down: I picked the most essential features, and left the “nice-to-haves” for later.
3️⃣ Fast Development: I used tools I was already familiar with (React.js, Node.js) and avoided overengineering. Simplicity was key.
4️⃣ Launch and Learn: Instead of waiting for perfection, I launched it to BigCommerce App Marketplace and gathered feedback. Their input shaped what Crucials became next.
The result? A functional MVP that I could improve over time, with real user input guiding the process.
If you’re stuck on your project, remember: done is better than perfect. What’s your MVP-building strategy? 🚀
