My SaaS worked months ago. It took much longer to make it useful.

A few months ago, I could already paste customer feedback into Readout Studio and get themes, scores, recommendations, and a report.

Technically, it worked.

Then I started testing it properly. There was a lot to work on. Generic themes, a bunch of repetition, and user confusion leaving even me wanting to say:

“Okay… what do I actually DO with this information???”

It really put something in my head: A feature working correctly and a feature being useful are completely different things. So instead of just adding feature after feature, I focused on the workflow, and a real question:

Can someone use Readout with real, messy feedback, understand what matters, why, and what to do next?

The version I’m launching today is built around that path:

  • Bring in reviews, emails, surveys, forms, files, or customer notes
  • Find recurring themes without losing the evidence
  • Identify what matters most instead of treating every theme equally
  • Get recommended based on the evidence
  • Turn those actions into editable drafts you can actually use
  • Track the work or create a shareable report

The report is still useful, but it's not the whole product. The real point is the path from raw feedback to a clear decision.

I also learned that testing with a neat 20-note sample hides a lot.

Once I tested with large sample sizes, and real reviews from real business, that's when issues started popping up. Inaccurate analysis, weird theme grouping, the whole site becoming laggy. After patching things up and switching to a durable CPU, analysis seemed fine on paper, and loads nicely. Great, but does a real user find this useful?

That’s why I’m launching now instead of spending another month just building every feature that comes to mind.

Readout Studio is aimed at teams with enough customer feedback that manual review becomes slow and unreliable, but who don’t want the cost and complexity of a full enterprise CX platform.

It’s officially live:

https://readoutstudio.com

If you work with customer reviews, surveys, or whatever else, I’d genuinely appreciate you trying it. You can try the demo, or the no card trial.

I'm mainly looking at three things:

  • Did it help you understand the feedback faster?
  • Did its priorities and recommendations feel supported by the evidence?
  • Where would this fit or fail in your actual workflow?

All feedback is welcome. I'd rather hear that it's bad then continue not knowing why I get no sign ups.
