My second product made $29 total. The tool I built from that failure makes $5,400/month. Sometimes you build the wrong thing first.

February 2024. One customer. One sale. $29 revenue.

That was my React animations product. Dead three months later.

February 2025. 185 customers. $5,400/month.

That's MediaFast. Built from the failure that killed the first product.

Why the first product died

It wasn't bad. People wanted it. My one customer Artium proved that.

It died because I couldn't reach customer two.

Every time I posted on Reddit about it, banned. Tried different subreddits, banned. Different accounts, banned.

Six accounts dead over 4 months.

Meanwhile my product slowly died because one customer isn't a business.

The expensive education

Those 6 bans taught me more than the product ever could.

Ban 1: New accounts get flagged instantly (3 days old = death)

Ban 2: Karma doesn't protect you (500 karma, still banned)

Ban 3: Being helpful doesn't grant immunity (30 days of value, still banned)

Ban 4: Different IP doesn't matter (hired someone, banned faster)

Ban 5: Big subreddits auto-kill new accounts (r/Entrepreneur = instant death)

Ban 6: Consistency looks like bots (daily posting = pattern detected)

Each ban was a $500 lesson in what doesn't work.

Account seven survived

Used my dad's email because I had nothing left.

But this time I followed the patterns from the bans instead of Reddit marketing advice.

Waited 60 days. Posted irregularly. Stuck to small subreddits. Took random breaks.

Worked immediately.

The choice

Try to revive the dead product with what I learned.

Or build a tool for everyone else stuck where I was.

I chose the tool.

Built MediaFast from the failure

Took everything those 6 bans taught me and built it into a product.

MediaFast shows you:

Which subreddits are safe for your niche (small beats big)

Account age requirements per subreddit (45-60 days, not 7)

Posting frequency that survives (less is more)

When to rest (gaps signal human, not bot)

Comment ratios that build trust (mix beats only posting)

Irregular schedules that avoid pattern detection

It's the anti-ban roadmap

Everything I learned losing my first product. Packaged so you don't lose yours.

The irony

My first product died on Reddit.

My second product is marketed successfully on Reddit.

Using the exact system MediaFast teaches.

The platform that killed me now distributes for me.

Where it's at

Launched February 10, 2025.

Month 1: $360 (already passed the first product's total)

Month 12: $5,400

185 customers who don't want to learn this the expensive way I did.

The lesson

Sometimes you build the wrong thing first.

My React animations product was good. Just couldn't reach people.

MediaFast solves the problem that killed that product.

Maybe I had to build the wrong thing to learn what the right thing was.

For everyone stuck at one customer:

If you've got that one sale that proves it works but can't find customer two because Reddit keeps banning you.

MediaFast is the system that keeps you alive long enough to find them.

I lost my first product after one sale. Built this so you keep yours.
