My Startup Agency - Mi&u.Design

As a designer with more than a decade of experience, I have been striving to launch my own shop for the last few years. Although it was difficult to attract clients initially, I gained momentum as time passed. However, once I began to attract high-ticket clients, it was necessary for me to justify my prices, and it became difficult to maintain my business. Then, I came across a Twitter post about a designer who had built a successful design subscription business.

After seeing their success, I was inspired to create something similar. I usually work faster and produce better quality designs than most designers I have worked with, so I decided to rebrand and create miandu.design with a completely different business model. I launched my new shop on Product Hunt and reached out to my contacts to inform them about my new venture. Although my Product Hunt launch wasn't as successful as I hoped, my outreach efforts paid off, particularly since I had industry connections. I started with affordable prices to encourage people to try my service, and thankfully, it has been successful so far. I've landed some significant clients and am excited to scale up my business. My ultimate goal is to scale this to be a network of designers businesses can leverage for their creative needs.

I hope to work with more startup companies, local entrepreneurs, and small businesses.
