So I have been blogging about investing, value investing, quantitative investing, etc for a while now. Naturally as a past quant I just do it for fun and to stay in the loop since I am no longer technically in the industry anymore (although I trade on my own). I built a private newsletter that out if no where just blew up with no marketing and have been working during the weekend to get a new landing page up for it and launch it to all.
The service is pretty simple, you get an email daily of the top gainers, losers and most undervalued and overvalued stocks of that trading day with daily, monthly, yearly, 3 years and 5 years of returns for those specific stocks.
Im gonna launch it just so I don't have to keep manually adding people but was wondering if this would be of use to any IndieHackers. Now I put some time into it, there is alot of room for me to grow it.
Thanks!
Congrats! Would love to hear more thoughts on how you engage your users, or got the word out without marketing.
It was mainly through word of mouth! If I am being honest, there were times I was getting sign-ups every minute and had no idea from where.
Hi @schnetzlerjoe, Do you also cover options? I launched my options newsletter about a month ago. It's a nice space to be in. fancyoptions.com
It does not. I have many ideas for expansion before I go into options but it seems like you got a nice thing going there!
is there a link?
Yes! I just launched the landing page. It is called stockbuild.co
