So I have a business idea which I am recently trying to validate.
I do cold messages on LinkedIn to my target audience, which is mostly other businesses.
I have noticed something interesting.
If a person I talk to is under the impression that I want to work FOR THEM (as an employee), they will be happy to answer questions and point me in the relevant direction.
But as soon as that person realizes that I actually want to work WITH THEM (as an independent business), suddenly they stop responding.
Did you guys have a similar experience?
It's kind of interesting how we just want to put each-other in 9to5 grind, instead of working together as independent businesses.
LinkedIn is not the most entrepreneurial place on the internet. And different places do respond well to different kinds of language. It's just what we have to study and adapt. You can see good marketers adapt their message for each platform.
