My users had no idea we were down. So I looked for a status page tool. The cheapest one was $29/mo.

Last month a user DMed me asking why my app was broken.

It had been down for 2 hours. Nobody knew. No status page, no incident notice, nothing.

So I went looking for a tool to fix that. Turns out the cheapest decent option is $29/mo. For a solo dev with a side project, that's just not happening.

So I'm building Statsy. Simple, clean status pages for solo devs and small teams. Free tier to start, $15/mo Pro.

Haven't written a single line of product code yet — just validating that I'm not the only one who's felt this pain.

Have you ever had users find out about downtime before you did? That's who I'm building this for.

For context, I'm a solo dev based in Indonesia. Been building side projects for a while and this pain point kept coming up. Would love to hear if anyone else has felt this, especially if you've tried any of the existing tools.
