NannyCam Baby Monitor App launched on ProductHunt! 🎉

I’m excited to share a new product I’ve been building over the last few months — NannyCam, a baby monitor app that turns any two phones into a secure, reliable monitor with HD video, two-way audio, and even an offline mode.

As a parent + indie dev with several apps in the wild, I ran into the same issues many parents face: traditional monitors disconnect, apps send too many false alerts, and everything seems overloaded with unnecessary “smart” features. I wanted something that just works — simple, fast, and safe.

So I built NannyCam with three principles in mind:

Reliability over gimmicks

See and hear your baby clearly without the extra noise.
The app focuses on the essentials, and nothing gets sent to any server — everything stays on your devices.

Works on any connection (or no connection at all)

WiFi, mobile data, or completely offline via WiFi Direct.
This was a big one for me — most monitors break when WiFi is unstable. NannyCam keeps going.

A “Loud Noises Only” listening mode

This filters out small rustles and background fan noise, so you only get alerts or audio when something actually needs your attention.
As far as I know, no other monitor app has this yet.
