Need Advice: Best tech stack to build something similar to Canva?
Hi Everyone -
I'm looking into building something similar to Canva but for a niche and wondering what's the best tech stack to base this on. HTML5 Canvas and such could only take to a level and I'd want the ability to place and resize graphic items to compose a better graphic that can be downloaded by the end-user.
I'm willing to learn any tech to make that happen but not sure if a simple HTML5 Canvas and graphics capabilities are enough or there's some other open-source option that can get me to the 5th mile outright and I can build on top.
Looking for some advice from anyone with some thoughts and/or experience in this domain. Thanks for your help.
They offer API and possibly white label or similar so you can basically build your niche thing on top of them rather than starting from scratch
Depending on what you actually want to do but HTML5 won't normally get you far by itself you'd need at least some advance JavaScript
Possibly some back end or at minimum something like firebase
