Need advice on how to sell my product.
Hey everyone!
I was wondering if anyone has had any success selling a free resource database on microacquire or any other platform.
I built https://ryila.co/ and I'd like to sell it to someone who (unlike me), has the skills/audience to really build it out & push the product as a lead gen tool or standalone project.
Have you launched it on Product Hunt? I see a lot of tools like this being launched there.

No I haven't launched it on ProductHunt yet but its on my to do list once I finish adding resources to the app.
But still, I feel like PH would just give the site a temporary boost then traffic/interest would naturally die down if I don't do anything to promote it after that.
Judging from what I've seen of free resources (MarketingExamples.com for instance), I know the creators had to really work on growing an audience & promoting the product for months - two things I can't commit to doing right now.
To be honest I've also considered doing the whole PH launch and just letting the site sit for a while then eventually come back to promoting it. But I just feel like its such a shame to leave it "wallowing" like that.
I exactly think the same about PH, but not sure if I'm not able to keep the traffic, which I know I'm not, it works just as a motivation for the competition.
The problem is that unless you have someone who's gone through the same journey successfully you never know exactly what to do.

I guess if I can't figure out a way to sell, I'll just do a PH launch and hold onto it till I'm ready to seriously promote it.
Not a bad idea, and anyway after a few months you can launch again.
you can try with lead magnet method, get the information from clients or users and send the product info,nation through email or SMS

At first I also considered using the site as a lead gen tool myself but changed my mind.
I don't have anything to sell to that audience right now so I decided to just make it freely accessible for anyone who might find it useful.
If I had some sort of marketing product , or even an agency, that would be an entirely different story.
