Need Co-founder/Technical lead for revenue-generating podcast platform.

Hello all,

I'm the founder of AudioStaq, a podcast hosting, and monetization platform. I'm currently looking for a technical lead to head development efforts as we start scaling our customer base. I posted in the past but nothing panned out.

Important details: Past the MVP stage, with early revenue. We make money from both SaaS subscriptions and programmatic advertising. We have a few NPR and Fox Sports clients.

About me:

I'm a Technical CEO/Founder but I'm not a true developer. Most of my experience comes from being a QA Engineer/Product Manager in gaming and ad-tech. I can write front-end code, some javascript, review code, write some SQL, talk and solve issues with the best developers. I designed our current website/dashboard and closed all current customers.

What I need:

We are looking for a technical co-founder that can come in and get started fast. You would help us:

Lead developments efforts
Build new features
Troubleshoot customer request, and fix bugs
Review code

Tech Stack:
Node, React, Firebase, Cloudflare CDN, Cloudflare workers, Google Functions, a full serverless stack.

The app is fast, stable, and easy to add features and fix issues.

How would you get compensated: I prefer someone who can work with equity while we continue to increase revenue. Current money in the bank is not enough to cover a real salary. We can also work based on milestones.

Last Words:

If anyone has any further questions, please reach out to me. When you write, please include the following about yourselves: Current Location, Experience, How many hours per week you're able to contribute to the project if you were to be brought on.

Please PM me your replies, email or post here. If detailed info is needed, PM is best or email at gabriel@audiostaq.com

Hey @frankely, that hard to whittle down but ill try my best with a few bullet points:

      • Cares about quality code and shipping great features. Meaning, they know when to build fast, but not at the expense of pissing off customers with buggy code.

      • Customer-centric mindset, willing to talk with customers and understand their needs without making judgments.

      • A true technology and biz partner. Ideally, someone who wants to be a thought leader. Blog about the project, code decisions, and always thinking about how we can make it faster, cheaper, and more usable.

      • A willingness to collaborate on features and do research.

      • Not easily frazzled, we may need to fix styling and small bugs. I don't expect pixel perfect, but I do expect it to look clean. So, rapid changes are constant.

      • Startup experience would be awesome! What have you built in the past that is similar?

      • Last, A LOVE OF PODCASTING AND AUDIO!

Heyy, I'm really interested I've launched a product before now with a team launching my second. I'm really tech savvy and would love to join you. I hope we'll be a good fit for each other because I was just thinking of building a podcast app. If you'd like to reach out mail me barakcodes@gmail.com
